Dorothy Moore Neyman
Sue, born on August 31, 1936, peacefully passed away on December 29, 2023. She was a lifelong resident of Colbert County. She was preceded in death by her spouses, Louis Franklin Moore, Jr. (m1955-1997) and John Neyman (m1998-2023); brother, Tommy Sugg (Doris); and sister, Lynda Conner (Jim). She was a member of Woodward Avenue Baptist Church and a longtime volunteer with The American Cancer Society.
She is survived by children, Frank Moore (Ashley) Franklin, TN, Ben Moore (Kim) Athens, AL, Joel Moore (Linda, deceased) Muscle Shoals, AL and Suzanne Moore, Sheffield, AL. She was blessed with eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
The family is appreciative of the staff at Florence Rehabilitation Center, especially Andy Jackson and Kristi Holley.
Pallbearers will be Joey Moore, Kaleb Moore, Elliott Moore, Sawyer Moore, Swayze Layton and David Thomas.
Visitation will be Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia, AL 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. with service immediately following. Burial will be in Cherry Hill Cemetery, Franklin County AL.
