Dorothy Mae Bennefield Reaves, 79 of Hoover passed away Saturday, December 2, 2023. Dorothy was born May 23, 1944, the daughter of Henry Odell Bennefield and Wilma Frances Baird Bennefield.
She is survived by her son, Tony (Diane) Bellew, daughter, Wendy (Jeff) Patterson, four granddaughters, Holly (Brandon) Roberson, Tiffany Everett (Zac Henderson), Ashley (Chris) Beacom, and Kaitlin (Walter) Embry, five great-grandchildren, Emma, Cadence, Lucas, Jacob, and Kaisyn; two sisters, Polly (Danny) Rusk, Lynn (Jack) Morrison and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister: Jennie Richey and brother: Roger Bennefield.
Graveside service will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at New Home Baptist Church Cemetery, Gober Funeral Chapel directing. Visitation will be 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Gober Funeral Chapel.
