Mrs. Dorothy Mable Elliott Waye, age 94, of Decatur, died Tuesday, November 21, 2017, at Decatur Morgan Hospital. She was born March 4, 1923, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada to John P. Elliott and Minnie Barron Elliott. Shelton Funeral Home is assisting her family.
Mrs. Waye loved life and her Lord, and was a faithful member of Decatur Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by one son, Jerrell Richard Waye of Santa Fe, TX, and two daughters, Sharon Waye Modlish of Ardmore, OK, and Becky Waye Revelle of Arlington, TX.
Mrs. Waye is survived by her loving husband, William L. Waye of Decatur; one son, Lawrence Waye (Cheryl) of Decatur; 12 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
