Dorothy M. Williams, 90 of Toney, Alabama died on Monday, February 23, 2015 at her home.
Born Saturday, December 6, 1924 in Steele, Missouri, she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Leona Owens. She was a member of Mable Hill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Lawrence B. Williams, two brothers: Sherrill Owens and Doc Owens, and a sister: Helen Jones.
Surviving are sons: Jimmy (Penny) Wiliams, Tracy Williams, and daughter Kimberly Williams, all of Toney, AL, three grandchildren: Stephanie Williams, Jessica (Chad) Harbin, and Heath Mullins, two step-grandchildren: Christina Sirten and Larry Smith, 5 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 28, 2015, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama with Bro. Gil Williams and Dr. Mike Clark officiating. Burial will be in Ready Cemetery, Toney, AL. Pallbearers will be Mike Owens, Steve Owens, Pete Sirten, Chad Harbin, Larry Smith, and Johnny Brown.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, February 26, 2015, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama.
