Dorothy Lucile Larsen Harris, 87, formerly of Decatur, passed away May 22, 2015. A memorial service was held at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 30, 2015, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Waco.
She was born in Bismarck, North Dakota and was the third of six children. She met her husband of 65 years, Roger, in Bismack during the spring of 1949; they married that October. They raised two sons, Dane and Brian, while living in Decatur. Dorothy was always active in the Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod, including her recent “Sew’n Sow” group at church.
Dorothy is survived by her beloved husband, Roger; brother, James P. Larsen and sister-in-law, June, of West Fargo, North Dakota; two sons, Brian Harris, of Waco and Dane harris, of Gaithersburg, Maryland, and their spouses, Sarah and Ping.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church in Waco, Humane Society, of Central Texas, or Fuzzy Friends rescue in Waco.
