Dorothy Lorene Cross, 83, passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2015, at Generations of Red Bay, AL. She was born December 6, 1931, to Sim and Lula Castleberry Moore. She was a beautician and a member of the United Methodist Church.
Private graveside services will be held at Castleberry Cemetery at a later date. McNeece-Morris Funeral Home of Fulton is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include her daughter, Vickie Cook (Ron) of Fulton; one brother, Dean Moore (Myrtle) of Fulton; one sister, Betty Fay Skeen of Marietta; three grandsons, Carson Cook, Cullen Cook, and Steven Cook; and eight great-grandchildren, Callen Cook, Mason Cook, Tate Cook, Cayson Cook, Ava Cook, Gabe Cook, and Chloe and Kayden.
She was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, M.C. Moore, Quitman “Bus” Moore, Fred Moore, James Moore, and Benny Moore; and four sisters, Luvetra Morris, Lura Wingo, Lena Moore, and Louise Jackson.
