Dorothy Lindley age 88 of Guin, AL passed away Thursday, August 15, 2024 in the Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, AL.

Born November 22, 1935 in Mississippi she is the Daughter of the late Lee Roy and Kirksie Underwood Shirley and the Wife of Hoyt Lindley. She had lived in Guin most of her life and had worked as a cook at the Guin Hospital and Sunset Manor Nursing Home before retiring. She was a member of the Guin First Baptist Church.

She is survived by her Husband, Hoyt Lindley of Guin, AL, A Daughter, Melinda, (Keith) Bush and a Son, Michael K. (Kathleen C.) Lindley all of Huntsville, AL, 5 Grandchildren, Jordan Bush, Jaden Bush, Beth Lindley, Matthew Lindley and Laura Kilmer, a Great Grandchild, Eleanor Kilmer, and a Brother Floyd G. (Shirley A.) Shirley of Brilliant, AL.

She was also preceded in death by a Son, Alan Lindley, Daughter, Donna Carol Lindley, a Sister, Levonnie Self, and a Grandchild, Joshua Keith Bush.

Services held Sunday, August 18, 2024 at 3:00 PM from the Guin First Baptist Church with Burial in the Guin City Cemetery. Bro. Zane Miles officiating.
