Graveside service for Dorothy Jean Copeland, age 76, of Diamondhead, MS will be Wednesday, May 29, 2013, 11:00 a.m. at Pisgah Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 28, 2013, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Copeland, who died Friday, May 24, 2013, at Memorial Hospital in Gulfport, MS, was born July 7, 1936, in Morgan County, Alabama to T.E. Howard and Susie Smith Howard. She retired from the state of Alabama Department of Pensions and Security. She was preceded in death by her son Barry Wayne Copeland.
She is survived by her husband, James Alton Copeland of Diamondhead, MS and her son, Jeffrey L. Copeland of Bay St. Louis, MS .
