Dorothy Irene Self, 82, of Athens, passed away Tuesday. Mrs. Self was preceded in death by her husband: James; son: Steve; and great-grandson: Ray.
Survivors include her two daughters: Pat (Chuck) Cunningham and Mary “Tooter” (J.R.) Glascow; sister: Louise Tate; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be Thursday from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home. Chapel service will follow at 2:00 with Bro. Andy King and Bro. Steve Olney officiating. Burial will be held at Ready Cemetery in Toney. After the service, the family will receive friends at Lindsey Lane East Church on Nick Davis Rd.
