Funeral service for Dorothy Halbrooks Drain, 79, will be Saturday, February 15, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Chuck Oden and Rev. Bobby Ray Halbrooks officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Mt. Tabor Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, February 15, 2014 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
Ms. Drain died on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at her residence. She was born February 15, 1934, in Morgan County to James Mac Halbrooks and Nellie Pauline Tapscott Halbrooks. She was Baptist in her faith and a member of Victory Independent Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and was formerly the Co-Owner of Drain’s Country Hams. She was preceded in death by her parents.
