Dorothy Doreen Long, 63, of Arab, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2023, at her residence with her family by her side. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Wayne Long; parents, Sanford and Pearlie Jones; brothers, J.D. Jones, Charles Jones, Ervin Jones and Levoid Jones. She was survived by her son, Kenny Long (Tonya); daughter, Christy Long: brothers, Herman Jones and Rickey Jones; sister, Olene Osborne (Jr); grandchildren, Dakoda Long, Austin Long, Callie Long , Dylan Long (Jordan), Alexis Shaw and Caden Shaw; great-granddaughter, Harlow Long.
The funeral service will be Friday, February 17, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Carr Funeral Home in Guntersville with Rev. Tim Byrom and Rev. Reggie Byrom officiating. The visitation will be Friday, February 17, 2023 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the funeral home. The burial will be in Panquin Cemetery.
