Dorothy Dean Lewis, 97 of Tanner, passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at home. Mrs. Lewis was born January 9, 1923 to Walter White and Eve McWhiter.
Mrs. Lewis worked at Tanner High School for 34 years.
She is survived by her sons, Lenord Lewis (Barbara), Walter Lewis (Brenda) and David Lewis (Kathy); daughters, Dorothy Tipton (Dale), Janice Blelew (Randy) and Kala Gist (Dale); 13 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 11 great-great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband of 30 years, Walter Raymond Lewis.
Graveside services for Mrs. Lewis will be held on Monday, December 14, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Limestone Memorial Gardens with Gary Enfinger and Rex Looney officiating. Pallbearers will be her sons, grandsons, and sons-in-law.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Limestone County or to First Baptist Church Tanner, AL. A special Thank You to Hospice of Limestone County for everything you have done during this time.
