Dorothy Dean Barnes, 83, of Cherokee, died January 10, 2016. Visitation will be Sunday, January 17, from 1 – 3p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Cherokee. There will be a graveside service held 3:30p.m. at Harris Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. Barnes was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Robert and Virginia Johnson Curry; and daughter, Teresa Gail Singleton.
She grew up and spent most of her life in Cherokee. She is survived by son, Mark Singleton; granddaughters, Christy Davis Everett and Brittany Singleton Southern; great-grandchildren, Sierra Hope Everett, Michael Dwayne Everett and Matthew William Garcia.
