Funeral services for Mrs. Dorothy B.(Myracle) Flowers, age 84, are scheduled for 2 pm, Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at Judson Baptist Church with Bro. Donald Bain and Bro. Terry Rhodes officiating. Interment will follow in Judson Cemetery. Pafford Funeral Home of Lexington is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Flowers passed away Sunday at her home in Scotts Hill. She was born February 4, 1930 in Decatur County to the late Jessie Alexander Myracle and Mary Effie (Wilson) Myracle. She was retired from Salant & Salant, Parsons, TN and was a member of Judson Baptist Church where she was a past pianist and past Sunday School teacher. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, cooking, gardening, crocheting, and taking care of her family and neighbors. Mrs. Flowers was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Henry Opal Flowers; two sons-in-law, Jimmy Clayton and James Shutt; and four sisters, Mildred Harrington, Helen Johnson, Jessie Mae Myracle, and Mary Tolley. Survivors include her son, Mr. Danny Ray Flowers (Amy); four daughters, Sharon Elaine Clayton, Margaret Ann Shutt, Lucinda “Cindy” Lynn Ison (Dean), and Charlynn Johnson (Mike); one sister, Emogean Meggs; and three grandchildren, Justin Ray Flowers (Talley), Tony Ison (Erin), and Matt Kennedy.
