Dorothy Ann Parsons, age 81, of Lewisburg, Tennessee, died Thursday, October 24th, 2024, at Life Care Center of Columbia.
She was born August 28th, 1943, in Lewisburg, Tennessee, to the late Edmond Rice and Mildred Davis Phifer. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Rice Phifer Jr., and Aaron Davis Phifer, sisters, Elizabeth Foster, Betty Clay, and a special friend, Francis Spencer.
She is survived by one daughter, Cathey Lee Shrum of Cornersville, one son, Jeffrey Wayne Davis of Lewisburg, two sisters, Sue Harwell of Lewisburg and Linda Shaddy of Belfast, three brothers, James Milton Phifer, Billy Edwin Phifer and Larkie Dean Phifer all of Lewisburg, one grandson, Gregory Young, two great granddaughters, Alexis and Jordan Young, one great great grandson, Curzi, and special friends, Faye Wise, Pat Gulley, and Beverly Crosslin. The family wishes to issue a special thanks to the Hospice Compassus Care Team.
Visitation with the family will be held at London Funeral Home, 324 West Church Street, Lewisburg, Tennessee, on Tuesday, October 29th, 2024, from 10:00 am until the funeral hour.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, October 29th, 2024, at 1:00 pm from the Chapel of London Funeral Home, 324 West Church Street, Lewisburg, Tennessee, with burial to follow in Lone Oak Cemetery.
