Doris T. ‘Dot’ Quarles, 95, of Huntsville, passed away Wednesday. Mrs. Quarles a longtime member of Trinity United Methodist Church where she was a member of the United Methodist Woman group, the alter guild and Questors Sunday school class. She was also a member of the Buttercup Garden Club. She enjoyed genealogy and church history. Dot was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Charles F. Quarles; son, Mike Quarles; and grandson, Adam Quarles.
Survivors include son, Mark Quarles (Jackie); grandson, Chris Quarles (Kaki); and great-grandson, Oliver Quarles.
Visitation will be from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22nd, at Trinity United Methodist Church. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Mac Buttram officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church.
