Doris Sulliva Herron, 95, formerly of Iuka, Mississippi, died on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at Ave Maria Home in Bartlett, Tennessee. Doris was a devoted Christian and a loyal member of Iuka Baptist Church for over 20 years. She enjoyed singing in the choir. She was also a fabulous cook and liked gardening. She absolutely loved people. Mrs. Doris Herron was full of nothing but love. Mrs. Herron is survived by her son, Ray Herron (Joyce); three grandchildren, Nathan Herron, Joseph Herron (Dani), and Jonathan Herron (Kim); five great-grandchildren, Riley, Hadley, William, Remy-Jo, and Cash Herron. She was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Herron; her son, Michael Wayne Herron; her parents; and a granddaughter-in-law, Erika Herron. Cutshall Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 7, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Iuka Baptist Church. Services will be Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. at Iuka Baptist Church, officiated by Bro. Ronnie Hatfield. Burial will be at Eastport Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Nathan Herron, Joseph Herron, Jonathan Herron, Andrew Mays, and Brent Cranford. Memorials may be made in Doris’ honor to Ave Maria Home or to the Alzheimer’s Association.
