Doris Sue Hayes, 70, of Sheffield, passed away Friday, June 28, 2024. Visitation will be Friday, July 5, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
Doris was a native of Muscle Shoals, AL and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was actively involved with Riverbend Center for Mental Health until her health declined. Doris was preceded in death by her father, Wallace Holden.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas Ray Hayes, Jr.; son, Joseph Albert Caldwell; mother, Hazel Holden; brothers, Bobby Holden and David Holden (Wendy); nieces and nephews, David Jr., Clifton, Nathan, Andrew, Lorrie, Vickie, and Bethany.
Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Riverbend Center for Mental Health.
