Doris Nix Hatton, 62, of Sheffield, died Thursday, December 18, 2014.
Visitation will be Friday 1-2 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia.
Her funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Shane Swinney officiating. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens.
Doris was a Sheffield native and a member of First Baptist Church, Colbert Heights. She was preceded in death by her husband Eddie Hatton; parents, M.C. and Flora Nix and one sister, Connie Nix.
She is survived by her son, Kevin Hatton of Orlando, FL, daughter, Kim Hatton of Muscle Shoals, sisters, Barbara Terry of Muscle Shoals, Sandra Kaye Elom of Tuscumbia, grandchildren, Abbey Donaldson and Kayley Donaldson.
Pallbearers are Brian Walker, Joe Alexander, Lester Hatton, James Hatton, Preston Hatton and JJ Alexander.
Honorary Pallbearers are Coleman Terry, Jerry Elom and Shayne Terry.
