Doris Marie Turner, 71, of Tuscumbia, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2014, at ECM Hospital.
Mrs. Turner was a native of Knoxville, Tennessee, but had lived in this area for the past 10 years. She was a homemaker and attended the Baptist Church.
The funeral service will be Sunday, November 30, 2014, at 2:00 p.m., at Pinkard Funeral Home, Chapel, Russellville, with burial in Hyde Cemetery, Littleville. Officiating will be Jeff Parrott. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
Survivors include husband, Elbert Turner; daughters, Cathy Kimble (Wayne), Littleville; and Roben Malone (Deryl), Russellville; sons, Larry Turner (Angie), New Albany, Mississippi and Jeff Turner, Olive Branch, Mississippi; brothers, Teddy Wilcox, Chicago, Illinois and Jerry Wilcox, Littleville; sisters, Betty White, Nashville, Tennessee, Bobbie Dyke and Karen Himplemann both of Chicago, Illinois; grandchildren, Alicia Johnson, Amy Lloyd, Allen Lewis, Erica Courson, Nicole Lewis, Kaitlyn Turner, Courtney Lancaster and Brandon Turner.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Della Wilcox; sister, June Helton; brothers, Marvin Wilcox and Rodney Wilcox; grandson, Dyllion Turner; great-grandson, William Allen Lewis.
