Doris Juanita Echols Mosley was born on February 8, 1935, in Anderson, AL, to Arland and Bernice Echols. She loved gospel music, her family, and most of all her Lord with all her heart. Gospel music was a big part of her life. Her dad led the singing at church, and it was at a gospel singing that she met her husband of 70 years, T.W. Mosley. She traveled many miles with him to singings across the southeast. She was a member of Springfield First Baptist Church in Rogersville, AL, where she faithfully attended until her illness prevented her from coming. The last service she attended was a Christmas concert at Springfield First Baptist by the Kellys. Another pastime of hers was to ride through Joe Wheeler State Park with her husband and take an account of how many deer they saw on a particular day. She also faithfully attended the senior citizens’ gatherings at the Goodsprings Community Center.

Visitation will be on May 18, 2024, from 11:00 to 1:00 at Springfield First Baptist Church with the funeral following at 1:00 officiated by Marty Mosley. Burial will be in Bonnertown Cemetery.
