Doris Jean Lemay Lynn, 93 of Athens, passed away on Tuesday, July 2nd, 2024, at Athens Limestone Hospital. Mrs. Lynn was born on April 22nd, 1931, in Lauderdale County, to Floyd Andrew Lemay and Lula Jane Smith Lemay.
Mrs. Lynn is survived by her sons David Anthony Lynn (Anita), of Franklin, TN, Joel Ray Lynn (Becky), of Athens, and Stephen Mark Lynn (Jane), of Athens; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and brother Byron Lemay, of Athens.
She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters Linda Urban and Ruby Liverett; and brother Neal Lemay.
Funeral services for Mrs. Lynn will be Friday, July 5th, 2024, at 11:00am, at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home, with Nathan Brackeen officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 9:30-10:50am, at the funeral home. A private family burial will be at Roselawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chad Lynn, Matthew Lynn, Daniel Lynn, Andrew Lynn, Grayson Nails, Preston Lynn, and Richard Todd.
