Doris relayed to her family that she enjoyed her life and wanted to thank all of those who made this possible. Topping the list is family, followed by numerous cousins who were always loving and supportive, long time very close friends and wonderful neighbors. Doris also had a long, loving friendship with Ralph Coleman, Jr.
Most people remember Doris for being a loving and dedicated daughter to her mother when she was ill. Doris never missed a day going to see her mother during the seven years that she was in Athens Nursing Home. She was with her mother when her mother passed away.
Doris was a loving sister and she enjoyed going to various states to visit the relatives. We will miss her wonderful sense of humor, her love of chatting on the telephone and her enthusiasm for shopping. Doris will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
