Doris Hamilton Barrett

She was a graduate of Dora High School. Doris was a lifelong member of Sumiton United Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband Benjamin J. Barrett and her siblings. Doris is survived by her children; Donna B. (Gary) Decker, Malcolm Barrett, and Steve (Sharon) Barrett; grandchildren, Karen Watkins, Mary Barrett, Myra (Jordan) B. Schaffer, Craig (Mindy) Barrett; great-granddaughter, Ashley Lesser; nieces, Suzanne Bridgeman and Marsha Key as well as other nieces and nephews. Services will be held at New Horizon Memorial Funeral Home, Tuesday, October 8, 2019. Visitation from 10-11am with a graveside service following at 11am in McCormack Cemetery.
