Doris StultsDoris Annette Martin Stults, 86, of Iron City, passed away May 3, 2024, at Lauderdale Christian Nursing Home. She was a Home Economics teacher for 42 ½ years at Collinwood High School, where she taught many students to cook, sew, and other valuable life skills. She was a dedicated member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church where she served as church clerk for many years. She enjoyed sewing beautiful dresses & clothes for herself, her daughter, Amy, and all of her grandchildren. After retirement she began quilting and made many amazing quilts and wall hangings, and was a member of the Batting Brigade Quilt Guild. She loved cooking for her family especially making Sunday dinner and birthday cakes. Survivors include: Sons: Mark Stults, Ethan Stults (Tammy) & Tim Stults (Amber) Daughter: Amy Stults Simbeck (Harley) Grandchildren: Jeff Stults (Erin), Jacob Stults, Taylor Stults, Ashley Stults, Timothy Beck Stults (Bailey), Grace Stults Craft (Nate), Lilly Stults Shepard (Alex), AmyBeth Simbeck & Patton Simbeck Great grandchildren: Eli Stults, Luke Stults, Dani Mae Stults, & Mylie Jane Stults Craft Preceded in death by: Husband: Bobbie Gene Stults Parents: James Earl Martin & Ruth Morris Martin Brothers: James Earl (J.E.) Martin, Raleigh Gene Martin & John Frank Martin Sisters: Earlene Haynes & Mary Ellen Berry Visitation will be Sunday, May 5, 2024, from 5:00 – 8:00pm, at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Monday, May 6, 2024, at 11:00am, in the funeral home chapel, with Billy Hill officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Jeff Stults, Jacob Stults, Taylor Stults, Patton Simbeck, Timothy Beck Stults, & Heath Lamprecht.
