Doris Yarbrough Couch Doris Annette Couch

Miss Couch, lovingly known as, “Memaw”, was born on June 15, 1959 to Talmage Walker and Carrie Burgette Walker. She was an Amazing Woman, Who loved with all of her heart. She was always there for you and would help without any questions when there was a need. She was so strong and courageous with her Cancer battle. She taught us all how to keep the Faith, Trust in God, and have Patience. Miss Couch was a member of Riverside Baptist Church in the Walter Community. She will be missed so much by her family and friends.

 

Surviving Miss Couch are her Children: Nicole (Brian) Segers, Johnny (Lindsay) Yarbrough, and Donny (Rachel) Yarbrough

 

Grandchildren: Chloe (Will) Reid, Haylie Segers, Makenna Yarbrough, Justus Yarbrough, Maddox Yarbrough, and Jalon Yarbrough. She had many other “grands” that Loved their Memaw.

 

Her First and Only Great Granddaughter was born in November of 2023. She was in Love and Excited that she made it to meet her sweet Elliana Kate Reid.

 

She is also survived by a Sister: Jo Newman; Brother: Larry (Lou) Walker

 

She had many cousins, nieces, and nephews that loved their Aunt Nette.

 

Preceded in Death by her husband, James L Couch, Jr. Her Parents, a Sister, Patsy Willene Pate, and a Brother-in-law, Larry Newman.

 

Viewing will be held Saturday, March 16th, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm with Service at 4:00. Miss Couch will be cremated and buried along with her husband at a later date. Services will be held at Riverside Baptist Church located at 2085 County Road 649 Hanceville AL 35077.
