A funeral service for Doris Annette Chasteen, 86, of Hartselle, will be Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at 1:00PM at Peck Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Barber officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be from 11:00AM ~ 1:00PM at the funeral home and burial will be at Mt. Tabor cemetery. Mrs. Chasteen was born on July 8, 1938 to Roy and Beulah Lang in Alabama. She died on November 4, 2024 at her residence.
Doris was a loving mother and Nana. She loved to spend time with her family. Mrs. Chasteen was preceded in death by her parents, husband Boyd “Peewee” Chasteen Jr, sister Shirley McLamb (Thomas), brother Jack Meredith and Nephews Earnest McLamb and Roy Edward McLamb.

Daughter: Patricia Chasteen Simpson-Reed
Brothers: Jessie Carl Lang and Lattie Lang
Sister: Sherrie Harris
Two grandchildren: Chris Bomar and Megan Bomar
Three great grandchildren: Kolby Patterson, Kinley Patterson and Lily Grace Bomar.
