Doris Ann Hovater, age 81, Russellville, passed away on Sunday, October 09, 2016 at her residence.
The visitation will be 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at North Highlands Church of Christ, with the body lying in state one hour prior to the service. Officiating will be Bro. Keith Barnett. Burial will be at Franklin Memory Gardens.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 65 years, Elmer T. Hovater; daughter, Edith Ann Hovater Jones (husband, Dan); son, John Alexander Bencsik; granddaughter, Kristin Jones Southers (husband, Daniel); step-great-granddaughter, Abby Southers; half-sisters, Claire Sweezy and Mary Stephenson; family friend and caretaker, Karina Ramirez; and a host of friends.
The pallbearers will be Todd Westbrook, Caleb Beason, Eddie Beason, Kirk Johnson, John Alexander Bencsik, Alan Rudy, and Gerald Hester.
The family would like to extend a special thanks Alacare Hospice and all those that have helped the family with cards, prayers, and visits. Spry Memorial Chapel assisted the family.
