Funeral service for Dora Lee Ryan, age 91, of Decatur will be Tuesday, June 14, 2016, at 1 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Brian McLaughlin and Rev. Gabe Ross officiating. The family will receive friends today from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. Ryan, who died Saturday, June 11, 2016, at her residence, was born Oct. 1, 1924, in Morgan County to C.J. “Cissro” Nelson and Eliza Jane Leeth Nelson. She worked for Goodyear and Parkway Medical Center. She was a mother and housewife.
Survivors include her loving sons, Bobby Ryan (Carol), Ronnie Ryan (Debbie), Royce Ryan (Sonja), Danny Ryan (Wanda), all of Decatur; and one sister, Frances Frye of California. Also eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
