Dora Darlene Mann, age 68, a resident of Franklin, Tennessee, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2023, at Franklin Wellness and Rehabilitation.
Born on April 13, 1954, in Columbus, Ohio, Dora was the daughter of the late Donald Paul Moore and the late Elizabeth Derksen Moore. She was a 1972 graduate of Grandview Heights High School in Columbus, Ohio and earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio. She previously worked at JoAnn Fabrics and YMCA Camp Wilson in Ohio. She was a member of The Church Next Door in Columbus, Ohio and Harpeth Hill Church of Christ in Brentwood, Tennessee. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, cooking, and baking. She also loved hiking, canoeing, taking road trips, and traveling.
She is survived by her son, Jefferson E. Mann of Savannah, GA, daughter, Martha E. “Bette” Mann Jarva of Nolensville, TN, brothers, Donald P. Moore Jr. of Columbus, OH, Peter Moore of Sandy, UT, Bill Moore of Galena, OH, Rick Moore of Columbus, OH, Norman Moore of Alameda, CA, sisters, Anne Cox of Springfield, VA, Emily Solon of Port St. Lucie, FL, and grandchildren, Sebastian Jarva, Leo Jarva, and baby girl due in February.
