Donny Ray Tidmore, 68 of Trafford, Alabama died Friday October 7, 2016 at Grandview Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama.
Mr. Tidmore was born May 21, 1948 in Marshall County Alabama to Robert Tidmore and Bertha Mae Gibbs Tidmore. He worked for Ard Construction Company as a supervisor until his retirement.
He was a member of New Friendship Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years: Ressie P. Fondren Tidmore; sons and daughters-in-law: Ray and Cathy Tidmore, Marty and Amanda Tidmore; grandchildren: Kayla McMurrey, Kellie Barber, Luke Tidmore, Braylee Tidmore; great grandchildren: Noah Green, Jaylynn McMurrey, Brantley McMurrey and Dylan Barber; sisters and brothers-in-law: Nella Jo and Jimmy Howard and Lora Ann and Delbert Nunnelley. He was preceded in death by seven brothers: Glynn Tidmore, Lendon Tidmore, Max Tidmore, Billy Tidmore, Rayburn Tidmore, Bobby Tidmore and Danny Tidmore; sisters: Ovalean Benefield, Mary Nell Willis and Rebecca Thomas.
Funeral service will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday October 9, 2016 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Brothers: Ralph McCollum and Fred Nichols, officiating. Burial will be in New Friendship Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Sunday October 9, 2016 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
