Funeral services for Mrs. Donnie Tucker Roberts, age 84, 12 pm Wednesday, November 18, 2015 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Scotts Hill. Interment will follow in Peace Chapel Cemetery. Mrs. Roberts passed away Monday in Jackson. She was born November 22, 1930 in Henderson County to the late Joel Wesley Powers and Maggie Savannah Dunivant Powers. She was a homemaker and attended Trinity Church in Decaturville. She enjoyed singing and loved spending time with her family and grandkids. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Mr. L. J. “Juke” Tucker and fourteen brothers and sisters. Survivors include her husband, Mr. William Roberts, Jr.; two sons, Don Tucker (Pat) and Glen Tucker (Darlene); three daughters, Brenda Goff (Mike), Barbara Bivins, and Diane Edgin (Barry); one sister, Monnie Shutt; twelve grandchildren, Michael Goff, Virginia Frizzell, Cheryl Middleton, Layla Jones, Rodney Ward, Jeremy Ward, Darryl Ward, Tracy Morgan, Dustin Keen, Crystal Wood, R. G. Tucker, and Isaac Tucker; and twenty-four great grandchildren.
