Donnie Jordan, 62, of Anniston passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at his residence.
Donnie was born on November 5, 1961 in Calhoun County to Joann Singleton and Willie Lowell Jordan. Growing up in the White Plains area of Anniston he met his wife of 43 years, Lynn Hutto Jordan who became his high school sweetheart and married her on August 23, 1980. Donnie came to know Christ on September 26, 1989. He has been employed at Multimetco in Anniston for 40 years.
Donnie, a loving, devoted husband, father and pappy, was a devout Alabama Crimson Tide fan and faithfully supported his grandkids in everything they did.
He is survived by his wife, Lynn Jordan; daughter, Candice and Logan Waldrep; son, Marty and Bridgette Jordan; grandchildren: Mason Wayne Jordan, Emmitt Andrew Pinson, Brooklyn Michelle Jordan, Landry Allen Waldrep; by his father, Julio Gomez; his siblings: Keith Jordan (Richard Walker), Suzanne Monfra (Sal), Mark Gomez (Tina), Landon Jordan (Michelle) and Deborah Phillips.
Preceding Donnie in death were his parents, Joann Singleton and Willie Lowell Jordan, by his brother Gene Butler and his brother-in-law Tim Phillips.
Donnie’s wish was to be cremated and a private family memorial be held.
