Donnie (Don) Mangrum, age 70, of Florence, Alabama, passed away on July 17, 2024. He was a retired employee of TVA for 30 years. He loved and cared about his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Judy (Johnson) Mangrum of Florence, Alabama; sister, Barbara Mangrum Young of Birmingham, Alabama; niece, Camellia Young Speegle, and two great nephews, of Birmingham, Alabama. Don is preceded in death by his father, James Elton Mangrum; mother, Jessie Mitchell Mangrum; and brother, Gary Mangrum, all of Oakland, Alabama.
The family will gather Monday, July 22 at 10:00am-10:45am at Greenview Funeral Home with graveside service to follow at 11:45am at Richardson Cemetery in Waterloo, Alabama. Honorary pallbearers include: Dale Johnson, Walter Johnson, and Eric Walker. Pallbearers include: Gordon Russell, Kenny Russell, Phillip Miller, Eddie Beasley, Ricky Holden, and Grayson Walker.
