Funeral for Donna Marie Cannon, 49, of Athens will be Thursday, August 8, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Spry Funeral Home Chapel with Wayne Bowden officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery in Decatur. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home.
Ms. Cannon died Monday, August 5, 2013, at her residence. She was born May 12, 1964, in Morgan County. She was a homemaker. Her father, Roger Cannon, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her mother, Martha Gossett of Athens; stepfather, Robert Gossett of Athens; brother, Troy Cannon of Athens; sister, Rachel Goodwin and husband, Steve, of Trinity; stepsister, Regina Mabry of Falkville; stepbrothers, Joe Gossett of Decatur, Travis Gossett and Kevin Gossett, both of Athens; and nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Travis Gossett, Kevin Gossett, Joe Gossett, Herbert Ferguson, John Ferguson and Jeff Richie.
