Donna Lynn Carmichael, age 68, of Boaz, passed away on Monday, July 22, 2024, at Princeton Baptist Medical Center. Visitation will be held at Adams Brown Service Funeral Home on Thursday, July 25, 2024, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. A funeral service will take place on Friday, July 26, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Adams Brown Service Funeral Home with burial at Marshall Memorial Gardens.
Donna is survived by her loving husband, Thomas Carmichael; her sons, Thomas Scott (Tara Leigh) Carmichael and Timothy Logan (Kimberly) Carmichael; her sisters, Cathy (Allen) Collins, Patricia (Wayne) Minor, and Karen (April Randolph) Roland; her grandchildren, Brianna Paige Winston & Kelvin Salgado, Tara Carly Carmichael, Aden Scott Carmichael, Emerson Jack Brown, Tanner Carmichael, Logan Carmichael, and Layla Carmichael; her great-grandchild, Adonis Lourden Salgado; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hamlin B. Roland and Guadalupe V. Roland, and her brother, Bruce Roland.
Donna was a devout Christian and member of North Broad Church of Christ in Albertville for many years. She loved her family and her community. She helped raise 3 sisters, 2 sons, and 6 grandchildren throughout her life and had 1 great grandson and another on the way when she passed. Donna worked in electronics and enjoyed crocheting, cross-stitching, and cheering on the Alabama Crimson Tide. Donna’s favorite bible verse was Proverbs 3:5- “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; And lean not unto thine own understanding”. She married a sailor and was married for 49 years. She will be missed by all.
