Mrs. Donna Jean Herda, age 77 of Toney, died Wednesday. A native of Cicero, IL, she has resided in Madison County for 45 years. She was a member of Toney United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her son, Steven Herda.
She is survived by her loving husband, Donald Herda, two sons, Gary Herda and David Herda, daughter, Nancy Carter, and seven grandchildren, Schatzi, Jeffrey, Christopher, Crystal, Kalya, Julia, and Maggie.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville, where the family will receive friends from 4:00 until 6:00 PM Friday. A service will be held Saturday, August 16, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Spry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eric Bagwell officiating. Interment will follow at Huntsville Memory Gardens in Huntsville, AL.
