Mrs. Hastings was born June 14, 1954 in Cullman, AL to Lawrence Buchanan and Opal Christine Miller.
She is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters Diane Scroggins, and Vickie McElyea, and husband C.L. Hastings.
Mrs. Hastings Attended Round Island Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter Angie Schrimsher (Greg) of Rogersville, AL; one son Chris Hastings (Krystal) of Athens, AL; five grandchildren Matthew (Whittney) Schrimsher, Brodie Schrimsher, Andrew Hastings, Madison (Terry) Sims, and Bailey (Travis) Clarkson; seven great grandchildren Axell Schrimsher, Rylan Clarkson, Walker Sims, Dally Kate Hastings, John Samuel Hastings, Paislynn Clarkson and Addilyn Kay Schrimsher (on the way).
Funeral Service will be Monday June24, 2024 at 2 P.M. at McConnell Memorial Chapel with Brother Doug Colwell officiating.
Visitation will be Sunday June 23, 2024 from 6:00-9:00 P.M. at McConnell Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Schrimsher, Brodie Schrimsher, Andrew Hastings, Terry Sims, Travis Clarkson, and Wayne McElyea.
