On Friday, June 7, 2024, Donna Edman Miller, 70, resident of Holly Springs, departed this life at her residence.
Funeral Services honoring the life of Mrs. Miller will be at 3 PM Tuesday, June 11 in The Heritage Chapel of Ripley Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 2 PM. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Benton County.
Mrs. Miller was born November 4, 1953, in Memphis, TN, the only child of the late Eugene and Mae W. Edman. She received her education in the Memphis Public School System and was the owner and operator of Granny Walnuts in Holly Springs. On November 4, 2009, she married her beloved husband, Jackie Miller who survives.
An Independent, patriotic person, Mrs. Miller will be remembered by many for her excellent cooking and baking skills, especially her famous chicken salad. She enjoyed canning, watching hummingbirds, tending to animals and growing beautiful flowers especially hibiscus. Favorite pastimes included listening to Elvis Gospel, Keith Urban and watching the Dallas Cowboys.
In addition to her husband of 14 years, memories will continue to be shared by a son, Jackie Lamar Miller (Lindsay) of Walnut, three grandchildren, Addie, Jackson and Jase Miller, two special friends, Joyce Hodges and Sarah Brigance and her two feline companions “Furball” and “Tom-Tom”.
She was also preceded in death be a great grandson, Rhett Elliott Reynolds.
