Graveside Services for Donald Wayne Warren, age 81 of Ashland, was Sunday, August 9, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Warren passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2020 at Clay County Nursing Home. Born in Talladega, Alabama but a lifelong resident of Clay County, he earned a degree as a metallurgist and worked for many years in iron manufacturing, serving as general manager for several foundries. He finished his working years at Wellborn Cabinet. Mr. Warren was also a minister and always loved to share his passion for Christ.
Mr. Warren is survived by his children, Donald Warren, Kim Tipton, Chris Warren, Jason Warren, Rodney Pitts and Katrina Upchurch; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren; plus extended family.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Lonnie and Myrtle Lakey Warren, his wife, Mary Henson Warren and grandson Jeremy Tipton.
