Donald Wayne Strange, 74 of Ardmore, Alabama died on Tuesday, November 17, 2015, at Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, Alabama.
Born Monday, August 4, 1941 in Veto, Alabama, he was the son of the late Eurell Strange and the late Frankie Tyler Strange. He was a lifelong resident of this area and attended Community Baptist Church. He enjoyed knife and gun trading and playing dominoes. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister: Joyce Akers.
Surviving are his wife: Ann Strange of Ardmore, AL, daughter, Karen & Rick Cantrell of Athens, AL, brother, Douglas Strange of Hendersonville, TN, grandchild: Jordan (Jordy) & wife Jaimee Cantrell, and two great-grandchildren: Kaden, Holden and Evee on the way.
Funeral services will be at 12:00 Noon on Friday, November 20, 2015, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama with Bro. Rick Cantrell and Bro. Steve Hargrove officiating. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery, Ardmore, AL.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, November 19, 2015, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama.
