Memorial service for Donald Wayne “Don” Linker, age 70, of Trinity, will be 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ben Phillips officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to service.
Mr. Linker, who died Sunday, October 6, 2024, at his residence, was born November 17, 1953, in Oklahoma to Clarence Everett Linker and Helen Lucille Maddox Linker. He was preceded in death by his son, Jamie Murray; parents; father-in-law, Leslie Odell; brother-in-law, Roger Odell; and sister-in-law, Kate Gilman. Don was a graduate of Buffalo Valley as valedictorian, and Oklahoma State University with a B.S. in agricultural science.
Don was a beloved member of the agricultural community of northern Alabama. He was known for having a deep affection for his wife, kids, grandchildren, friends, and animals. He was respected and cherished by all who knew him. Don’s kind spirit and generous heart left a lasting impact on all who knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Karen Linker; children, Luci Terry (Johnathon), Ty Linker, and Kati Linker; brother, Randy Linker (Missy); sister, Judy Tate (Rodney); grandchildren, Wyatt and Maggi Terry, Isabella and Tyler Beth Linker, Austyn Linker, Logan Wright (mother, Liz Wright), and Kendrix and Jaxen Murray; mother-in-law, Fay Odell; sister-in-law, Sondra House (Bill); and a host of nephews and nieces.
