Funeral services for Mr. Donald Vales, Sr., age 75, are scheduled for 1pm Tuesday, January 7, 2025, in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington. Interment will follow in Lexington Cemetery with full military honors. Mr. Vales passed away early Saturday morning at his home in Lexington. He was born in Madison County, TN to the late Tom and Louise Vales. He was a Vietnam veteran and retired from US army. He was also retired truck driver with Golden Flake. Mr. Vales was a member of Fellowship Sunday School Class who will serve as honorary pallbearers.
He was survived by wife , Mrs. Faye Vales; his children, Donnie Vales, Chris Vales and Nikki Heidelberg (Don); his stepchildren, Vic Wallace (Pat), Sammy Wallace (Paulette), Beverly Hatcher (Donnie), Deborah Goodman, Shelby Fincher (Mancel), Lilly Osborn, Pam Miller (Vance), and Tina Berryman (Ray); his brother, Lonnie Vales; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by stepson, Terry Joe Wallace and stepson in law, Wes Miller. The family will receive friends on Monday 4-9pm and Tuesday 10am- 1pm at Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington.
