Donald Robert Brannon, age 70, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at Cullman Regional Medical Center in Cullman, AL. He was a native of Hollywood, FL, retired from TVA, and of the Baptist Faith. He enjoyed jet skiing, boating and spending time on the river. He also enjoyed listening to classic rock music, and spending time with his grandchildren. Mr. Brannon served his country honorably in the U.S. Air Force.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Keith Brannon; one son, Donald Keith Brannon; one brother, Dennis Brannon; one sister, Susie White; and grandparents, Irvin and Irene Brannon.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Brannon of Lawrenceburg, TN; three sons, Chris Brannon (Victoria) of Lawrenceburg, TN, Allen Cottrell (Shavonna) of Ethridge, TN, and Robert Cottrell of Lithia, FL; four daughters, Lindsay Brannon, Adrien Higgins (Elmer), Amber Higgins (Michael), and Alanah Carrow (J.R.), all of Lawrenceburg, TN; his mother, Jimmy Lou White Adderholt of Double Springs, AL; three sisters, Annette Womble (Danny) of Ethridge, TN, Patricia Smith (Dennis) of Lawrenceburg, TN, and Bobbie Wilson (Larry) of Lawrenceburg, TN; four brothers, David Brannon (Diane) of Lawrenceburg, TN, Teddy Brannon (Tracy) of Double Springs, AL, Joe Adderholt of Addison, AL, and David Adderholt of Troy, AL; twenty-two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. Graveside services and interment will be conducted at Old Ethridge Cemetery with full military honors at 1:00 PM Sunday, July 21, 2024, with Ray Brawner officiating.
