Donald Ray Garrett, age 81 of Jasper, passed away on Monday, October 2, 2023 at Floyd “Tut” Veterans Home.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 5, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday, October 6, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel, burial will be at Heard Shoals Cemetery. Kenneth Wiggins will officiate.
Mr. Garrett was preceded in death by his Wife-Lorraine Garrett; Parents-Fayette and Billie Garrett; Brothers-Roger Garrett (Jackie), Gordon Garrett (Betty) and Billy Powell Garrett (Norma).
He is survived by his Daughters-Julie Sanford (Larry) and Cindy Garrett; Son-Kevin Garrett; Sister-Brenda Brown (Rayford); Grandchildren-Jakob Garrett, Morgan Sanford-James (Chase), Levi Sanford, Colton Henderson, Makena Kilpatrick Garrett and Ariana Thrasher.
Pallbearers will be Jakob Garrett, Levi Sanford, Colton Henderson, Brian Brown, Michael Brown, Alan Brown and Chase James.
