Donald Ray “Don” Roberts, age 71, of Iron City, passed away Thursday, December 6, 2012. Visitation will be Saturday, December 8, 6:00-9:00 P.M. at Spry~Williams Funeral Home, Florence. The funeral service will be Sunday at 2:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Bobby Amos and Bro. Willie Paul Kilburn officiating. Interment will be at Railroad cemetery. Grandsons will serve as honorary pallbearers. Mr. Roberts was a master wood craftsman, retired from TVA as a electrician member of Turkey Creek Union Church in Savannah TN. A member of American Legion, served in The Navy and a member of IBEW. He was preceded in death by his brother, William Jerry Roberts., Survivors include: Wife of 31 years, Billie (Dixie) Cudabac Roberts of Iron City. Sons: Donald J. (Sherry) Merritt Island FL. Daniel R. (Shelia) of Cypress Inn Tn. Daughter: Dianna (Van) Manning of Iron City. Two stepsons: Earl (Gaye) Robinson of Sheffield, and Jimmy Robinson of Iron City. Brother: Gary Roberts of Michigan. Sister: Diane Collins of Waynesboro, TN. Grandchildren: Amanda Kelley, Brandin Roberts, Anthony Roberts, Chad Manning, Sheena Holt, Chase Roberts, Tanner Roberts, Kane Roberts, Cody Roberts and Bryanna Roberts. 7 Great Grandchildren.
