Donald R. Mielke ,79, departed this life for his Heavenly home December 11, 2013. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. His working career was 23 years at International Harvester, followed by four years at Perkins Diesel Engines and ended retiring as a manager for Onan-Cummings in Huntsville. Surviving is his wife: Lynn Mielke; four daughters: Lynda and Dr. Greg Binns, Dr. Donna Mielke and Dr. Michael Maday, Susan and Mel Ontiveros and Wendy and Kevin Molt and seven grandchildren: Natalie, Ingrid, Hanna, Eric, Michael, Elena and Samantha. A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church in the large Chapel.
