Donald Mitchell Lane, Jr., 61 of Ardmore, Alabama passed away on Friday, January 29, 2016, at his home in Ardmore, Alabama.
Born Wednesday, October 20, 1954 in Fayetteville, Tennessee he was the son of the late Donald Mitchell Lane, Sr. and Evelyn Faye Sanders Weaver of Ardmore, AL. He was preceded in death by his father, step-father, John Weaver, Grandparents, and nephew, Brian Lane.
He lived most of his life in this area and was a member of Meadow Hills Baptist Church in Madison, AL.
Surviving are mother, Evelyn Faye Weaver, Ardmore, AL; sons, Jason Lane of Fayetteville, TN; Chris (Nicole) Lane of Fayetteville, TN; Damien Lane of Fayetteville, TN; Matthew (Miriam) Lane of Fayetteville, TN; brothers, Danny (Jan) Lane of Fayetteville, TN; Mark Lane of Ardmore, AL, Harry (Brenda) Lane of Centerville, TN; Doug (Sherry) Lane of Centerville, TN, sister, Shannon (Tim) Honea of Fayetteville, TN; Step-brother, Dewey (Rose) Weaver, Harvest, AL; Tom (Beth) Weaver, Hartselle, AL; Step-sister, Cindy Weaver, Hartselle, AL; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Monday, February 1, 2016 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, AL with Bro. Joel Logan officiating. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery, Ardmore, AL.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, January 31, 2016, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama.
