Donald Lee “Donnie” Lawrimore, age 63, of Decatur, died Thursday, June 29, 2023, at his residence. His family may host a memorial service at a later date. Parkway Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
Mr. Lawrimore was born February 18, 1960, in Alabama to Chester Lawrimore and Nelavine (Smith) Lawrimore Glover. He was preceded in death by his parents; stepfather, Albert Glover; one brother, Jimmy Johnson; and one sister, Pat Nix.
He is survived by two sons, Wade Lawrimore (Samantha) and Wesley Lawrimore; one daughter, Ashley Stolz; two brothers, Stanley Lawrimore (Sharon) and Melvin Lawrimore (Tammy); and four grandchildren, Avery Lawrimore, Wren Lawrimore, Jett Lawrimore, and Lyla Lawrimore.
