Donald Glover Donald Kenneth Glover, age 73, a lifelong resident of Haywood County, passed away on Thursday, January 6, 2022, at Jackson General Hospital, in Jackson TN. Visitation will be Thursday, January 13, 2022, from 10:00 AM -11:00 AM, with the service beginning at 11:00 AM, at Lea & Simmons Funeral Home. There will be a burial service immediately following at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in the Hillville Community. Donnie was born on December 23, 1948, in Haywood County, TN. to Ewing Wesley Glover and Mamie Louise Pennington Glover. He served in the United States Airforce for a short time. He worked as a truck driver for Roadway for over 30 years and was a jack of all trades. He loved his family, his many critters, and his friends. He also enjoyed riding his Harley and off-road razor riding. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sandra Risen Glover, 1 daughter, Rebecca (Becky) Louise Glover Stokely (Bobby), 1 son, Charles (Chip) Wesley Glover, all of Brownsville, TN; 2 brothers, William (Bill) Allen Glover of Meridian MS and Robert (Bobby) Wayne Glover of Brownsville, TN; 3 sisters, Marietta Christine Glover of Memphis TN, Carol Kathleen of Hillville, TN, Sharen (Sherry) Faith Glover Carothers of Ruskin, FL; George, Mamie, Addi, and Evan, many nieces and nephews, and in-laws. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ewing Wesley Glover and Mamie Louise Pennington Glover, one brother, James Ewing Glover, and one sister, Evelyn Louise Glover. The service will be officiated by Ronald Bruce, Harold Garrett, and Tom Powell. All services and arrangements are under the direction of Lea & Simmons Funeral Home in Brownsville, TN.
